Officials warn of the dangers to kids in hot cars

Recent headlines where a Tuscaloosa native was charged with murder after he left his son in a hot car in Georgia has put the spotlight on the dangers of hot vehicles where children are involved.

While officials believe that Justin “Ross” Harris knew what he was doing when he left his 22-month old son in the car that day, local officials say that even someone who accidentally locks their child inside a car is facing a dangerous situation.
