The Dadeville Police Department is conducting a death investigation after a deceased individual was found Thursday morning. The body, a white male, was found dead under a canopy in front of a vacant Dadeville business on East South Street.

“It is a death investigation,” Dadeville police Chief Jonathon Floyd said. “The body is being sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy.”
