Rotary, Interact clubs commence sportplex project

Members of the Benjamin Russell High School Interact Club helped the Alexander City Rotary Club build a bridge for the Charles E. Bailey Sportplex trail.

Making a difference in your community doesn’t always happen overnight.

The Alexander City Rotary Club along with the Benjamin Russell High School Interact Club saw the opportunity to make a difference, and they got their start on it. After the installation of the Imagination Station in the Charles E. Bailey Sr. Sportplex, Rotary Club president Larry Bates decided to improve the trail in the sportplex. To help with the project, Bates appointed the help of the BRHS Interact Club, the high school equivalent of the Rotary Club.
