Todd Sassano will officially retire from the Alexander City Fire Department on April 1. He has served the department for 18 years.

While celebrating the end of lifelong accomplishments can be bittersweet, it can also be a celebration of new opportunities and beginnings — and that’s exactly what Alexander City firefighter Todd Sassano plans to do upon retirement.
