A Saturday home invasion and murder in Alexander City is under investigation by Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, will be prosecuted by the Alabama Attorney’s General Office and heard by a retired judge.

According to court documents and an ALEA press release, the State Bureau of Investigation launched a homicide investigation at the request of the Alexander City Police Department at approximately 11:15 a.m. Saturday morning.
