A single-vehicle crash that occurred Saturday has claimed the life of a Rockford man.

At approximately 6:43 p.m. Saturday, Corey Housey, 24, was fatally injured when the 2012 Dodge Ram pickup he was a passenger in left the roadway and struck several trees. According to an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency release, Housey was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash.
