School staff honored for life saving actions

Fourth-grade teacher Kelly Locke collapsed behind her desk Feb. 18.

Horseshoe Bend School nurse Mercedes Durham was first on the scene. The crisis response team soon followed suit and included Austin Teel, Brannon Carroll, Sawyer Milam, Erica Meigs, Johnathan Anderson, Autumn Kinder, Cindy Jackson and deputy Lamarquis Daniel.
