Benjamin Russell High and Radney Elementary school administrators presented plans designed to bring the schools back into compliance after falling behind federal achievement guidelines during the Alexander City School board meeting Tuesday.

Last year, Radney Elementary and Benjamin Russell High schools failed to make the Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) standards established by the government. Both schools failed in one area and are required to develop Continuous Improvement Plans to come back into compliance.
