Sheriff’s offices donate outdoor heaters to girls ranch

Three local sheriff's offices donated outdoor heaters to the Tallapoosa County Girls Ranch.

With the cold temperatures carrying Alabama through the winter, three local sheriff’s offices came together to donate outdoor heaters to the Tallapoosa County Girls Ranch.

Tallapoosa County Girls Ranch director TJ Wood said the only place big enough for the whole ranch to gather is their outdoor pavilion. During the winter months, it has been difficult to come together for birthdays, meetings or general fellowship.
