Starting, sustaining, success: Nonprofit council providing resources for prosperity

Knowing the difficulty in forming and sustaining a nonprofit, a local organization opened its doors and got to work.

The Tallapoosa Together Nonprofit Council began operations in October 2025. Secretary Samantha Brasher Godsy said the mission of the council is to make it easier for nonprofits to get connected with the resources they need. Those resources could include assistance with establishment, developing more effective fundraising and marketing strategies and easier access to professional development opportunities across the board.
