Strickland discusses progress on Kellyton graphite plant

Westwater Resources director of operations John Strickland spoke to the Alexander City Kiwanis Club about the progress of the graphite plant in Kellyton.

A milestone in local industrial development has been made.

Coosa County is home to the largest graphite deposit in the lower United States — and Westwater Resources is using that to its advantage. The graphite deposit spans over 42,000 acres in Coosa County, and it is the most advanced natural flake graphite deposit in the contiguous United States.
