According to the chief school financial officer, Tallapoosa County Schools might have a little surplus in this year’s budget if things go as planned.

CSFO Tommy Thweatt read aloud the total revenue for the 2024 fiscal year budget, which is roughly $45.1 million, and the total expenditure is about $43.7 million.
