A single-vehicle crash Sunday, Aug. 10, claimed the life of a Tallassee woman. Karmeshae Thomas, 19, was killed when the 1998 Olds Regency she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.

The crash occurred at 8:47 p.m. on Alabama 50 three miles west of Camp Hill in Tallapoosa County. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
