Lake Martin Area United Way reviews the total 211 calls from Tallapoosa and Coosa counties in 2023. There were a total of 1,186 calls for various needs.

Lake Martin Area United Way has conducted their 211 initiative in Tallapoosa and Coosa counties for 17 years. United Way organizations throughout Alabama constantly encourage use of the 3-digit phone number 211 for information and referrals to social services and other assistance. 

The 211 number has been available statewide since 2005. In Alabama, the 211 number is funded by every United Way organization throughout the state.
