Vehicle charging stations coming to Dadeville’s square

Eight charging stations for electric vehicles will be installed in Dadeville's downtown. The stations will likely be operational by the summer of 2024.

As Dadeville’s downtown continues to grow, one thing that can drive more people to the area are electric vehicle charging stations.

Resident Anne-Marie Jones saw a need for charging stations in Dadeville as the closest stations are in Alexander City and Auburn, which could deter people with electric vehicles from staying in the Dadeville-area. Jones said this can also be beneficial in years to come as electric vehicles become more and more popular.
