Williams to serve as Career Technical Education coordinator

Josh Williams, right, is devoted to improving students’ skill sets and preparing them for the workforce through career technical education programs.

After eight years of teaching at Benjamin Russell High School, Josh Williams will officially hold a new position with Alexander City Schools in the next school year. Williams has been named the new Coordinator of Career Technical Education. 

Right after Williams earned his bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in 2016, he began teaching agricultural science at the BRHS. Since then, he has worked diligently to showcase the importance of career technical education to students and parents through teaching agricultural science and leading the Future Farmers of America organization as its sponsor.
