Wreck leaves Jeep in ditch

Two cars were involved in an accident Wednesday morning on Highway 280 near Dadeville Road. State troopers and local police were directing traffic around a mangled Jeep sitting in the eastbound lane. The front end of the vehicle was significantly damaged and the airbags had deployed. Down the road, a Jeep had come to rest off the road and lodged itself in a small valley beside the highway. The vehicle’s windows were busted out and the body was badly damaged.
