In a first-ever joint event, American Legion Post 143 of Dadeville and American Legion Post 103 of Alexander City hosted a family day at Patriot Park in Dadeville on Saturday. A local group of musicians entertained the guests, several speakers were on hand and there was plenty for the kids to do including face painting and a bouncy slide.
