With the upcoming Alexander City Schools consolidation, this month marks the closing of William L. Radney Elementary School. Current and past teachers, principals and other support staff members gathered Thursday to share memories and visit with former peers. Radney school students will be absorbed based on grade. Fifth graders will join with Nathaniel H. Stephens Elementary School students and sixth graders will join Alexander City Middle School students on its new campus.
