For the better part of Ami Edwards' career with Benjamin Russell, she has served as the girls basketball team’s point guard. However, that role changed heading into her senior year.

Standing at 5-foot-11, Edwards switched from a guard to a forward position within the Wildcats' scheme. And although it took a while to get going, she has found her rhythm, and it is coming at the perfect time.
