Just like it had done all season long, Benjamin Russell dominated anything it was a part of. After finishing the year with a 12-2 overall record and an appearance in the Class 6A semifinals for the first time since 2015. The Wildcats also went undefeated in Class 6A Region 3 play at 6-0, the first perfect region record since 2013.

And after dominating all of its region opponents, Benjamin Russell was well represented on the Class 6A All-Region team.
