Three seniors depart, while a whole new batch of players step up to the plate — literally and figuratively. 

Last year, the Benjamin Russell softball team finished the season with an 18-24-1 overall record, finishing third in Class 6A Area 5 behind Calera and Chilton County. But this season, the Wildcats plan to get back on top of the area, which has not been done since 2019.
