Only a few inches separate the new Benjamin Russell High School from being at its completion point.

According to Alexander City Schools superintendent Dr. Jose Reyes, school officials did a walkthrough with the Department of Construction Management on Wednesday and the only thing separating the building from being occupiable is a non-compliance issue involving the location of several American Disabilities Act water closets, or toilets.
