After a stellar opening series against Brookwood, the Wildcats advance to the second round to face off against ranked Spain Park (29-7). In the final Alabama Sports Writers Association rankings, Spain Park was named the No. 2 team in Class 6A — just behind Homewood, which is slated at No. 1.
