I would surmise most Auburn and Alabama fans try to draw as much distinction between the other as humanly possible. I think everyone probably has a picture (or caricature might be a better word) of what they believe a typical “Barner” or “Bammer” looks and acts like.

Needless to say, it’s a very unflattering picture most of the time. That’s OK. It’s all in fun, for the most part. It can get a little mean-spirited and ugly at times, but that’s usually because it just means so much to people.
