Thursday night was a night to forget for the Ben Russell boys soccer team.

Hosting area opponent Calera, the Wildcats were defeated 10-0 in mercy rule fashion. The team was down 4-0 at half and suffered a red card in the second half. Nothing went right, and coach Lee Wagoner took the blame for his team’s showing.
