Malcolm Simmons finally did it.

At the Wayne Murphy Invitational in Auburn on Friday, Simmons hit the 7-foot mark in the high jump for the first time in his career. Naturally, his high jump was good enough for first at the meet. More importantly, Simmons now stands alone at the top of the Alabama leaderboards in the discipline and has the second best jump in the entire country.
