Winston & Gophers handle Cats

Alabama’s Nick Saban overlooks a play last night in Hueytown. Saban was there to recruit Gopher QB Jameis Winston. BRHS fell to Hueytown 34-0 to end the regular season.

Behind a strong Hueytown High School crowd that included Alabama head coach Nick Saban, the Golden Gophers (10-0) took down Benjamin Russell in dominating fashion 34-0.

Highly touted Gopher quarterback Jameis Winston once again put on an offensive clinic, throwing for 157 yards (148 of which came in the first half), as the senior played his final regular season game.
