Alex City native and current Auburn Ski Team member Robert Bice took home third place in a wooden ski tournament in Tennessee, his first competition in wooden skiing.

Robert Bice was in the area, so he thought he might as well try wooden skiing.

After competing with the Auburn Ski Team for All Star weekend in McDonald, Tennessee, Bice heard of a wooden ski tournament on the same lake he had been competing on.
