The Horseshoe Bend football team saw how quickly the tide can turn on Friday night in a 61-6 loss to Class 2A Region 4 opponent Lanett.

The Generals struck first, with Bryce Jordan connecting with Loughton Spate 45 yards down the field for a score. They missed the extra point attempt, and that’s where things seemed to unravel. The Panthers scored in the following three drives to put the score at 21-6, but the Generals were still in the thick of it.
