The Horseshoe Bend volleyball team saw its magical season come to an unexpected end on Wednesday afternoon.

Horseshoe Bend fell to Wicksburg, 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 27-25) in straight sets in the second round of the AHSAA Class 2A Super Regionals Volleyball tournament held at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
