The Dadeville Tigers ended the regular season Thursday with a 23-3 loss against the Valley Rams (5-5, 3-3), but that does not mean they are out of the football playoffs.

Unfortunately for the Tigers (3-7), injuries took a toll in the non-region contest. In the second quarter, running back Brandez Eason made a cut to avoid contact and suffered an injury whcih took him out of the game. Coming out of halftime, the Tigers then saw wide receiver Cam Heard and linebacker Levi Childers also sidelined due to injuries. The straw that broke the camel's back was in the third quarter as the Tigers lost quarterback Jay Burns, who was carted off the field in a stretcher.
