Reeltown's JaMarkius Smith earns MVP in state game

For as long as Reeltown has been a contender, the rushing attack has taken center stage for its offense — that is until quarterback JaMarkius Smith made his way under center in his first year.

On Friday against Tuscaloosa Academy, he showed his playmaking skills as early as the first play. On a routine handoff to running back Traylen Roberts, the snap was bobbled where Smith picked the ball up and rolled out. He connected with Finn Henderson down the field, who broke a tackle and scampered 83 yards down the field for the first score of the day.
