With less than six minutes to go in Friday night’s Class 3A Region 4 football game, Dadeville was facing a tie ballgame with Weaver. After the Bearcats’ strong start, Dadeville clawed its way back into the game.

Runs from Cam Heard, Corde Jefferson and Jay Burns got the Tigers just outside the end zone, and Brandez Eason punched in a 1-yard score — his fourth of the evening — to put Dadeville ahead, 26-20, with 2:49 left.
