Simmons, Morgan help lead BRHS track in latest meet

Led by a first place finish by the boys 4x100 relay team and four podium finishes by Cedarian Morgan and Malcolm Simmons, the Benjamin Rusell track program put forth a solid showing in its first meet since spring break.

Taking to the track for the first time since March 11, it took no time at all for the Wildcat track team to shake off the rust at Auburn on Friday.

In typical fashion, Malcolm Simmons was the front runner for the team, earning first overall in the 200 meter dash, first in the long jump and second in the high jump.
