Topwater catches take win at Lake Martin stop on Alabama Bass Trail

They say practice makes perfect but it almost did not work out for Chad and Chase Schroeder who won Saturday’s Alabama Bass Trail Lake Martin with a five fish bag tipping the scales at 15.49 pounds.

“We found them yesterday (Friday) at practice,” The Schroeders’ of Livingston, Alabama said. “We went there this morning (Saturday) and didn’t get anything but went back about 2 p.m. and caught two of the three big ones.”
