Transforming rural healthcare is becoming a reality one effort at a time. 

Lake Martin Community Hospital received its second Patient First truck on Wednesday. The pilot program is growing across Tallapoosa County with its newest truck to be stationed in New Site. Ivy Creek Healthcare CEO Mike Bruce said it would take 30 minutes for an emergency vehicle to get to the area.
