It is one thing to be named the best golf course in the entire state, but accomplishing that feat in the first year of operation is on another level. 

Wicker Point Golf Club holds that distinction in the most recent GOLF Magazine ‘Best in State Rankings’ article published this January. For nearly the past five decades the title was split between Shoal Creek Golf Club and The Country Club of Birmingham West Course, but now Wicker Point is the new top dog in Alabama.
