At the beginning, there may have been some doubts, but by the end, Benjamin Russell left none on the field. Despite the slow start on the day, the Wildcats toppled the Panthers on homecoming night, 32-7 — earning the Class 6A Region 3 crown, thanks to a strong second half.

And one of the reasons for the emergence in the second half was thanks to the do-it-all player Alijah Johnson. He basically single-handedly took over the game, with it all beginning on the Wildcats' third drive of the second half.
