Looking through the stats, the Horseshoe Bend softball team outdid Lee-Scott in all categories except one — runs scored.  Ultimately, the Generals fell in their home opener to the Warriors, 3-2. 

Horseshoe Bend ended with 12 hits through seven innings of play; Lily Moss, Brynlee Alford, Cara Mae Davis and Lina Tidwell all finished with two hits, while Harper Hunter and Marley Trapp each added one. In comparison, Lee-Scott finished with half the number of hits at six, and came away with the walk-off double in the bottom of the seventh to score two runs.
