It may have marked the second time that Alexander City resident Elizabeth Benton witnessed a presidential inauguration, but for her nothing compared to watching Barack Obama take the oath of office in front of nearly two million people Tuesday.

Benton said being in attendance for former President Bill Clinton’s second inauguration could not touch the experience of witnessing Tuesdays event in person.
