Once again, a “two-for-one” event opportunity was held at the Welcome Center in downtown Tallassee last Saturday, as the Beautification Committee of the Greater Tallassee Area Chamber of Commerce gave away free seedlings to note Arbor Day, and a Heart Walk sponsored by the Tallassee Parks and Recreation Department was held to benefit the American Heart Association.
