One hundred and fifty of Jim Pearson’s kindergarteners took a trip to Hawaii without ever leaving the school.
Several kindergarten classes got together to create a Hawaiian Marketplace that incorporated hula dancers, sand, authentic art, traditional Hawaiian games and more. Teacher Deborah Pierce said the kindergarteners were able to study many topics by putting together the marketplace.
