To commemorate the best time of the year, I did what I know best and enjoyed the first week of the college football season with a beer in my hand. I traveled to Wetumpka and sat down at Coosa River Craft House to see what was on the menu. 

I did my best to scan through the list of beers they had on tap, but I’m not a snob when it comes to the beer I drink, so I enlisted the help of the bartender to help me make a decision. I sampled four drinks before settling down on the Bankhead Mango Guava by the Black Warrior Brewing Company.Â
