What a year 2012 has served up for golfers. I cannot remember a year where short-sleeved shirts were worn so often in January and February. I’ve boasted for years, to crazy friends of mine who choose to live their lives in regions of our country where they chalk up more mileage wearing galoshes over sandals, that in Central Alabama we play golf at least once each month (including the winter) in short-sleeved shirts. Here it is March and many of my golfing friends are already sporting that attractive white-foot/tanned-legged golfer’s tan.
