Another restaurant and ice cream coming to River Town Center

The Wetumpka City Council approved economic development agreements bring more restaurant options to River Town Center.

Public hearings were held at Monday’s council meeting where no one commented on a meat and three restaurant and pizza restaurant or on an ice cream restaurant. As part of the economic development agreements, the council also voted to enter into purchase and sales agreements with developers. The developers are purchasing the property within River Town Center, a city owned development. The funds received in the purchase will recoup the city’s cost in the project while the restaurants and businesses will generate property and sales taxes for the city.
