Nearly one million people attend performances at the Hollywood Bowl each summer, making it one of the country's most iconic outdoor concert venues. Although the music may start after sunset, some of the night's most memorable moments begin hours before the first musician walks onstage, as Hollywood gradually shifts into concert mode.
This summer’s lineup spans rock, classical music, jazz and film. The remainder of the 2026 season includes Foo Fighters performing with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Gustavo Dudamel leading a week of special performances celebrating his 17 years as the orchestra's music and artistic director, and Smooth Summer Jazz featuring the Commodores, Boney James and Sheila E. Performances run into September, giving visitors several more weeks to build a Los Angeles getaway around a night at the amphitheater.
