(The Center Square) – Democrat Roy Cooper maintains a double digit lead over Republican Michael Whatley in the race for U.S. Senate in North Carolina, according to the latest polling.
Cooper, the former North Carolina governor, leads Whatley, former chair of the Republican National Committee, by 11 percentage points, according to the survey of 861 registered voters in the state conducted by Elon University.

unsecured objects.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and
pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any
circumstances.

possible, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or
evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat
