On Friday, Carlisle’s announced it will close its doors on March 30. The business was opened by Hoyt Carlisle in 1914, and was taken over by Daniel and Lisa Champion in October 1997. 

Carlisle’s not only sold clothes, houseware and trinkets, it still had a soda fountain and served a variety of sandwiches.
