The new taxiway that will soon be built at T.C. Russell Field may not sound like a big deal to many Alexander City residents, but it is.

This week Alexander City’s council awarded a million-dollar construction bid to Gary Ingram Paving of Dadeville to build the North Parallel Taxiway Extension.
